The Creative Process: From Studio Chaos to Assessment
Monday September 21, 2026 9:00am - 10:15am EDT
The Creative Process: From Studio Chaos to Assessment explores how the messy, unpredictable stages of art-making can become meaningful evidence of student learning. Grounded in the Quebec Arts Education curriculum, this workshop looks at how teachers can encourage risk-taking, experimentation, problem-solving, and reflection while creating a studio environment that feels both creative and manageable. Participants will leave with practical strategies for documenting and assessing the creative process, not just the final product.
