Assistive Technology in Practice: Designing Adaptable Learning Workflows with AI

Join us for a hands-on, interactive workshop designed to bridge the gap between AI content generation and student accessibility. In this session, you will learn how to leverage AI tools (such as Copilot, Gemini or NotebookLM ) to instantly generate and differentiate reading materials, and then use Assistive Technology (Read&Write) to make those texts fully accessible to every student. We will also explore creative writing workflows, demonstrating how to smash writer's block with interactive AI prompts paired with speech-to-text dictation. Perfect for educators looking to streamline lesson preparation while building resilient, independent learner workflows. Please bring a laptop and ensure you are logged into your school account with the Read&Write extension installed.
