SWLSB Learning • Apprentissage
This workshop helps new teachers use formative assessment as a powerful tool for student growth. We’ll explore how effective formative practices deliver timely, actionable feedback that helps students learn from mistakes and recognize progress. Participants will examine a range of techniques, from quick check-ins to structured tools, and learn to choose the right approach for different stages of learning. We’ll also consider how formative assessment fits within an ongoing cycle of instruction, feedback, and revision. By the end, you’ll have a practical toolkit to guide learning and build student confidence through meaningful assessment.
