About me
As the Science Consultant for the Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board, I support science and technology programming across 40 elementary and high schools. My work is centered on applying cognitive science—such as Cognitive Load Theory and Rosenshine’s Principles of Instruction—to design effective curricula and learning experiences.
I believe that a knowledge-rich curriculum is a fundamental prerequisite for a successful inquiry process, providing the essential foundation students need to explore scientific concepts deeply. I enjoy connecting with fellow educators to discuss instructional strategies, curriculum design, and practical approaches to classroom pedagogy.
