Sylwia Bielec (M.A.) is an instructional designer and pedagogical consultant whose work spans several educational contexts. She is a pedagogical consultant with LEARN and has also been working alongside Cree educators at the Cree School Board since 2012. Her work includes pedagogical innovation initiatives such as LEARN’s Open Creative Spaces project and the development of the History of Eeyou Istchee Secondary 3–4 program and learning toolkit as part of the ongoing work of Indigenizing and decolonizing curriculum. A socioconstructivist educator, Sylwia designs learning experiences grounded in relationships, curiosity, and careful listening. She holds a B.A. in Communication Studies and English Literature and an M.A. in Educational Technology. Her superpower is simplifying the complex without sacrificing its complexity.
